I cinque punti chiave della Sicurezza alimentare

L’OMS e il Ministero della Salute italiano, hanno individuato cinque punti chiave che racchiudono i principi di base che ogni individuo dovrebbe conoscere in tutto il mondo per prevenire le malattie di origine alimentare.

Si tratta di semplici messaggi di salute globale sulla base di prove scientifiche per formare tutti coloro che devono manipolare alimenti, dai campi alla tavola, dunque da chi produce, trasforma e distribuisce alimenti ai consumatori.

Essi sono:

1) Igiene

2) Evitare la contaminazione crociata tra alimenti diversi

3) Cottura adeguata dell’alimento

4) Mantenere la catena del freddo o la catena del caldo

5) Utilizzo di materie prime sicure e di qualità
